Transforming Carnegie together

Carnegie is changing, with new developments, level crossing removals and station works.

With the state government’s level crossing works now underway in Carnegie, Council wants to support our community through this period and help make the most of the opportunity to create a better shopping centre long-term.

This page will keep you up to date with the changes happening in Carnegie and let you join in the conversation to help shape the future of your shopping strip.

You can also provide feedback to the Level Crossing Removal Authority on some of the ideas proposed (or your own creative ideas) for the open space that will be created by the elevated rail at their ‘Open Space Hub’

Throughout 2017 we will develop a vision and key objectives, explore future projects and ideas and develop a long term plan for Carnegie Shopping Strip. There will be a number of opportunities for you to be involved through this page and community forums.
