Glen Eira Biodiversity Implementation Plan

Glen Eira City Council commissioned an independent report Biodiversity in Glen Eira by Dr Graeme Lorimer. The report aims to provide a clear understanding of Glen Eira’s biodiversity including the extent and type of vegetation, biodiversity ‘hotspots’, threatened flora and fauna and how the community can contribute to protecting and enhancing biodiversity.


Council officers have prepared an implementation plan of the key recommendations in the report and undertook community engagement which closed on 18 May 2018.
