Harleston Park - Small Basketball Court Proposal

Consultation has concluded - Thank you to everyone who contributed.

Council is seeking your feedback on a revised proposal for an active space in a different area of Harleston Park – this smaller area consists of a 3 point arc area with basketball ring.

Recent feedback found that many people were not in favour of the location of a large multi-purpose space as it would reduce the area of undeveloped green space, impact on dog off leash space and generally be out of character with Harleston Park.

The intention of the revised basketball area proposal is to provide an area for older and more active children who have outgrown the play space – a group that is not currently catered for at Harleston Park.

The opportunity to provide feedback is available until Sunday 12 November 2017.
