Council authorises Local Laws for community consultation
The proposed Local Laws, as well as draft Community Impact Statements for each Local Law, are presented to Council. Council authorises both Local Laws to undergo community consultation.

Submissions open for proposed Local Laws
Council is seeking community feedback on the proposed Local Laws. Have your say during the consultation periods which runs from 12 June to 19 July 2019. All members of the community have an opportunity to comment on the proposed Local Laws.

Submissions close about proposed Local Laws
The closing date for submissions on the proposed Local Laws is 19 July 2019. Following the consultation period, all submissions received will be considered.

Submissions heard by Council
Council will receive a report containing key outcomes from community consultation about the proposed Local Laws. Members of the community who have made a written submission will be invited to share their views and participate in the discussion at a Council meeting. The Council meeting will be held from 7.30pm in the Council Chamber, Glen Eira Town Hall, corner Glen Eira and Hawthorn Roads, Caulfield VIC 3162.

Council meeting to authorise proposed Local Laws
The proposed Local Law documents will be finalised, incorporating community feedback. The finalised documents are presented to Council. Once adopted and following gazettal, the current Local Law, including any amendments, will cease to be operational and the new Local Laws will take effect.
