Local Park Proposal - Mile End Road and Mimosa Road
Consultation has concluded
The State Government's Minister for Planning has approved planning amendment C140 which applies a Public Acquisition Overlay (PAO) to land at 93 Mimosa Road and 11 Mile end Road, Carnegie.
There are no timeframes on the aquistion of these properties.
Once purchased, the land will then be incorporated into a public park and further consultation will be sought on the design the new park.
The opportunity to provide feedback has now closed.
A new park is being proposed in Carnegie and we seek your thoughts.
The proposal involves a road closure at Mile End and Mimosa Roads and the acquisition of two properties.
The proposal to create a new park in Carnegie is an action of Council’s Open Space Strategy which outlines a plan to create a more liveable, healthy and sustainable City.
