Local Park Proposal - Archibald Street, Gisborne Street and Riddell Parade
Consultation has concluded
This consultation has concluded. Thank you for your input.
Glen Eira now has a new park.
What was once an over designed roundabout surrounded by a sea of asphalt is now an inviting and green open space featuring an open grassed lawn, shaded areas, garden beds and seating. Local residents have been overwhelming in their praise of the space, with many commenting that they have met some neighbours for the first time having lived there for years.
The new park is just the first new park created from the Open Space Strategy. The positive feedback and way it has enhanced the area will assist in delivering a number of similar projects which are currently being planning.
