Planning for the Carnegie Swim Centre Redevelopment

Carnegie Swim Centre is a special place where many memories have been made for more than 50 years. The buildings and pools are now at the end of their serviceable life and need to be replaced.

The redevelopment will aim to keep the unique and nostalgic feel of the outdoor pools and activities in the design, while updating the facility to modern day standards.

The information flyer outlines a number of activities we're looking to include in a new Carnegie Swim Centre. We are interested to hear your feedback on these and any we’ve missed, and encourage you to let us know.

Late last year we undertook consultation with the community to understand what was important in any redevelopment of the centre. We are currently working through the options and indicative costs to help inform a future decision of the Council. Council has not yet formed a view on what the best option might be.

Council are still seeking community views and feedback, and we encourage you to leave your thoughts and comments on the forum below.

You can also post comments and feedback to PO Box 42, Caulfield South Vic 3162.

Council will use the community feedback to inform concept design plans for Carnegie Swim Centre and the wider Lord Reserve/Koornang Park Masterplan.
