What we heard 👂
We asked the community to help shape our plans to improve the pedestrian experience along Staniland Grove in Elsternwick.
Community engagement ran for three weeks, from 9 June to 29 June 2025. During this time, we received 53 pieces of feedback, including:
- 23 survey submissions.
- 30 community member comments from an in-person pop-up.
We’re now working on the final design for Staniland Grove, and we’ll share it with you as soon as it’s ready.

We asked the community how they felt about the draft plan. Most respondents indicated support, with a smaller number indicating further work was needed.

The community shared what they like about the plan, including:
- Strong support for enhancing greenery 🍃
