Engagement summary

Thank you to all Community Voice members who completed the July 2025 survey. The survey was held from the 16 to 30 July and explored the following topics.
  • Community Voice preferences

    • We’re always looking for ways to make the Community Voice experience enjoyable and meaningful.
    • Building on feedback from the March 2025 survey, we asked members about their preferences — like what motivates them to take part and how they want surveys to be designed and delivered.
  • Community Satisfaction Survey results

    • While the annual Community Satisfaction Survey gives us a helpful snapshot of community sentiment, we asked Community Voice members to explore the survey themes in more detail.
    • This will help us better plan, communicate and deliver services that meet community needs.

What we heard

How we're using your feedback

We’ve heard that showing the impact of feedback and keeping people informed are what our community values most.

In response, we’ll begin embedding these insights into how we work. This includes:

  • More regular updates showing how feedback has shaped decisions and what’s come of it.
  • We’ll also look at ways to make the connection between feedback and outcomes more visible throughout the life cycle of Council projects — so you can see how your input makes a difference.

These changes will take time, but we’re committed to making them happen and ensuring community feedback continues to guide our work.
