Have your say on the new play equipment
We’re replacing the main play unit at Koornang Park playground as it needs to be renewed. We want to hear from the people who know the playground best: children, families and the local community.

Final choices will need to fit the available space and budget and meet safety and accessibility requirements.
What's being replaced at the playground
This main play unit will be replaced.
What's staying at the playground
The three bay swings, blue wave, musical xylophone and bug rocker will stay at the playground.
What your feedback can and cannot influence
- The types of play equipment you would like to see.
- Preferred play experiences, such as climbing, balancing, sliding, imaginative play or sensory play.
- Accessibility and inclusion considerations.
- How the playground can cater for different age groups and abilities
- The decision to renew the playground.
- The project budget.
- The location or size of the playground.
- Safety and Australian Standards requirements.
- Other park features such as paths, seating, shelters or landscaping.
- Existing equipment that is still serviceable, including the swings, musical xylophone, bug rocker and blue climbing structure.
